Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao held a meeting with his legislative and parliamentary leaders the other day at Pragathi Bhavan. He discussed the plan of action for the TRS party in the coming months.

Speaking about the upcoming Munugode by-elections, KCR said “The surveys say that TRS will win in the Munugode elections for sure. Congress party will be in the second position and BJP will be in the third. Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy will lose deposits. All surveys say that we will get more than 42% vote share. We will assign one MLA for every two villages in the Munugode constituency. The list of in charge MLAs will be announced soon. All these MLAs should closely work with the party members of those villages and campaign for the party.”

KCR said that MLAs should start campaigning after the conclusion of the upcoming ‘Telangana Jatiya Samaikyatha Dinostava Vedukalu’. He also assured most of the sitting MLAs will be given tickets during the next elections as well.

“My policy is to give tickets to only sitting MLAs. I will do that in the upcoming elections as well but a few MLAs need to improve their performance. If the elections take place now, we will win at least 72-80 seats for sure. If we campaign hard, there are chances of winning 90-100 seats as well. Leaders should maintain a cordial relationship with the cadre, they should visit the houses of people and make sure they get schemes like Dalita Bandhu and Aasara Pensions. Please leave Hyderabad and concentrate on your constituencies from now on,” KCR ordered his MLAs, MLCs and MPs.
