South cinema never shies away from repeating actors who can bring in the magical touch to the film at box-office. It looks like Bollywood’s renowned actor Sanjay Dutt has become the go to guy for major roles in several South biggies that are in the planning. After the success of ‘KGF-2’ at box-office, South filmmakers are quite fond of Dutt (who played Adheera role opposite Rocky Bhai) and started to offer roles for him in the south biggies to release them nationally.
According to the latest reports from tinsel town, Sanjay Dutt was approached for an antagonist role in Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming project with ‘Vikram’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Earlier, Vijay worked with Lokesh for Master and it has received a massive response from fans. With Lokesh emerging big after the huge success of ‘Vikram’, the expectations are quite high on this collaboration now.
While Malayalam star hero and filmmaker Prithviraj will be playing one of the negative role, Sanjay Dutt was reportedly approached for another character in the movie. The report has further added Dutt has demanded a whopping Rs 10 Cr to act in the film. Considering the big success of KGF-2 and the value addition that Sanjay Dutt brings in, makers of #Vijay67 would be ready to shell out what he demanded.
