Congress Leader and Parliament member Rahul Gandhi, who recently started ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari, has on Monday finished 100 kms of walk. In his yatra, Rahul is meeting several people, leaders and community heads at various places. His attack on Modi’s government continued and he termed it as ‘Suit Boot Ka Sarkaar’, to which the BJP reacted and made a social media post highlighting that he cannot connect with common citizens through his yatra by wearing a very expensive Rs 41,000 British brand Burberry T-Shirt.
However, Congress tried to give it back by projecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “10 lakh suit” and glasses of 1.5 lakhs. Condemning the politics on T-shirt, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot targeted Union Home Minister and said ‘Amit Shah uses muffler worth Rs 80 lakh and BJP leaders flashy sunglasses with 2.50 lakhs’. “BJP is quite worried about the response from people for Rahul’s yatra and so, they are making these kind of allegations on Mr. Gandhi’.
Amit Shah has further hit out at CM Gehlot for the “highest prices” of fuel in Rajasthan and he said that latter’s government did not decrease taxes on fuel despite Centre cutting the taxes in last couple of months. On other hand, Rahul Gandhi is receiving decent response for his ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra and he is making all efforts to bond with various sections of society.
