BJP’s MLA Etala Rajender has been suspended from assembly on Tuesday. It has been reported that the MLA has made insensitive comments about the speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, and this has been raised by the ruling party MLAs in the assembly, demanding an apology from him.
On the first day of the Telangana Assembly sessions, BJP MLAs were not invited to the BAC meetings. Speaking about this issue at the media point in the assembly, Rajender made a comment asking the speaker not to be a robot. This has been taken as an offense by the ruling party which demanded an immediate apology from the speaker. Rajender didn’t attend the assembly yesterday.
When he attended today, everyone was waiting for his apology. As he began without an apology, TRS ministers stopped him from speaking and in the end, he has been suspended to attend the assembly.
Telangana CM KCR is making sure that the current assembly sessions will once again prove his strength in the state. He is cornering the opposition parties and sending an indication to one and all that TRS will come to power in the next general assembly elections as well.
