Jeevitha Rajasekhar and Rajasekhar started their political journey with the Congress and left the party when Chiranjeevi merged his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress. Later on, they showed their support for BJP.
The latest buzz is that the Actor-turned-politician Jeevitha Rajasekhar is in plans to compete in Telangana against TRS by joining hands with Bharatiya Janata Party.
Markin the same, it is heard that Jeevitha who attended the Bandi Sanjay Pada Yatra a few days back told him that though she is active in BJP, no one is considering giving her the seat.
Also Jeevitha, during a media interaction in Bandi Sanjay padayatra, made interesting comments about politics. She said, ” I was away from active politics for some time due to personal reasons. Now, I am ready to contest on the party ticket from anywhere in Telangana if the BJP leadership asks. People are deeply dissatisfied with the TRS regime”.
“Telangana is lagging behind in many aspects. BJP should win the next assembly elections for the welfare of the Telangana people. Telangana state has been achieved after years of struggle and it should not be wasted”, Jeevitha added. She also praised Bandi Sanjay’s leadership.
Meanwhile, Jeevitha Rajasekhar couple, who changed many parties (including BJP) in the past, have not achieved much. Hence, the couple hopes to proceed in a well-planned way this time. Jeevita, who intends to contest from BJP, seems to want to seek clarity from the party leadership in this regard. It is reported that she has already made a proposal to Bandi Sanjay regarding the issue of tickets. It is also heard that Jeevitha said that they are ready to campaign on behalf of the BJP party, only after getting clarity about giving him a ticket.
