Actor Nagarjuna, who is ready with ‘The Ghost’ to see us in theatres, has recently featured as an artist and archaeologist Aneesh Shetty in the latest Bollywood sensation ‘Brahmastra’ which has Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. As member of Nandi Ashtra, Nag excelled in the limited role he was offered. On Wednesday, the actor was spotted at Dharma Office in Mumbai along with filmmaker Ayan Mukerji & Alia Bhatt. Soon after, speculations were rife that they all sat down for discussions of Brahmastra part-2.
On other hand, Nag has recently reacted to the mixed reviews for Brahmastra and shared how important the ‘reviews are for any film’. He even admitted to watching new films and webseries after seeing the reviews. ‘In the past, nobody were keen for reviews which used to get published a week after the film’s release. Now, the reviews have become major aspect to keep the movie alive after the release. Even I follow these reviews and only watch a film only if it gets rated 7 or above,’ shared Nag.
Sharing his views on OTT culture in movies, he said ‘We were extensively used to Tamil and Malayalam languages earlier, but with OTT we are now comfortably watching Bengali, German, French, Korean and more. With OTT growing bigger, I think that it’s advantageous to cinema in many ways. But, our filmmakers and actors should also upgrade with time. Else, it will yield no results.’
