Telangana Jateeya Samaikyata Vajrotsavalu kick starts from today

Telangana state government has recently confirmed that the new secretariat will be named after Dr. BR Ambedkar’s name. The same has been decided in the ongoing Assembly sessions. On the other hand, the government also kicked off the three-day “Telangana National Integration Day Celebrations” on Friday.

For the same, there will be demonstrations and processions in each Assembly constituency headquarters with students, youth, and women at 11 am, followed by a public gathering in the evening. Specially for this occasion, each district will receive about 10,000 national flags, along with 50 enormous flags.

The government wants to promote Telangana’s rich culture and traditions. ‘Telangana Jateeya Samaikyata Vajrotsavalu’ is the name that has been finalized for the same. The celebrations will begin from September 16 and will be held until September 18 to mark the completion of the 74th anniversary and also the beginning of 75th anniversary of the merger of Telangana (Hyderabad State) into the Indian Union on September 17, 1948.

The concluding celebrations will be held for three days next year. During the main ceremony that will be held tomorrow at Public Gardens, Nampally in Hyderabad, CM KCR will hoist the national flag.
