Today on September 20, the Supreme Court issued notices to Ramoji Rao regarding Margadarsi Chit Fund and also to Andhra Pradesh government in connection with the case.
For the unversed, Undavalli Arun Kumar filed a petition in the Supreme Court, asking for an investigation to be conducted on the Margadarsi Chit Fund case. He complained that the Margadarsi Chit Funds company has collected approximately Rs 2600 crores deposits in violation of the Reserve Bank Of India guidelines.
Marking the same, The Andhra Pradesh government appointed Vikas Singh as the lawyer for this case in the Supreme court. However, the Supreme Court gone through the case and ordered the concerned parties to revert back in 4 weeks.
Talking about the same, Vundavalli Arun Kumar said that Ramaji Rao has been ordered to revert back to the court within a month. Vundavalli said “The government filed a petition on the Margadarsi case. Ramoji Rao has been ordered by the court to revert back in 4 weeks in connection with this case”
“We have asked the Telangana government also to file a case but we don’t know why they’re delaying it.”, he added.
