KTR hits out at FM Nirmala Sitharaman for fall in rupee value

KCR-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi is going all out in fighting the BJP at centre and KTR has been at forefront in highlighting inappropriate decisions taken by Modi government. On social media, Telangana Muncipal Development and IT minister KTR continue to attack union ministers on various issues like fuel price hike, inflation, unemployment rate, allocation of funds and government institutions to state of Telangana and privatization of power and agriculture.

In his recent jibe targeted at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, KTR tweeted “While Rupee is at an all time low. Madam FM is busy looking for PM’s photos in PDS shops. She will tell you that the Rupee will find its natural course. All economic hardships, unemployment & inflation are due to Acts of God. Hail Vishwa Guru.”

The rupee value has seen a massive fall of 83 paise on Thursday in foreign exchange market and closed at 80.79 against dollar. This is an all time low for rupee value. After seeing a decline of 99 paise on 24th February, this is second highest fall for rupee which plummeted around 6.5% this year already.

For those not in the know, recently FM was serious at Kama Reddy district collector for not displaying PM Modi’s photo at a PDS shop run by central government. She said that centre is sending funds for 5kg of rice bearing all logistics and storage cost under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana.
