Ind vs Aus: Hyderabad Metro Plans To Operate Special Trains

As Hyderabad city is all set to witness a T20 cricket match on Sunday (September 25) at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, the Hyderabad Metro Rail is arranging many facilities for the convenience of passengers.

Marking the same, special trains have been arranged on Sunday from 11 p.m. from Stadium Metro station with the last train departing at 1 a.m. in the morning on September 26. It is said that, even connecting trains will be available from Ameerpet and JBS Parade Grounds.

Also, during Special Trains service, entries are permitted at Uppal, Stadium, and NGRI metro stations only. All the remaining stations would be open for exit only.

Sharing the same, a press release from Railway authorities said, “We encourage customers to purchase return tickets in advance or at least while exiting the Stadium metro station before going to the match. Customers are also encouraged to use smart cards for ease of travel and to avoid queuing,”

Noted that digital tickets would not be sold post regular hours of 22:15 hrs. So, only the tickets which have been taken before 22:15 hrs would work till the closure of business only from Uppal, Stadium, and NGRI.
