International cricket is returning to Hyderabad after a gap of three years and that too with an important match. The final and decider game of the ongoing T20 series between India and Australia will be held today at Uppal’s Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
India will be coming back from a stunning chase they did in an 8-over game in Nagpur. The form of Rohit Sharma and the other batters is a boosting factor. But the performance of bowlers remains to be a concern. Barring Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel, none of the other bowlers is doing well. It’s time for the likes of Bhuvi, Harshal Patel and Yuzi Chahal to step up.
We might see Bhuvi replacing Harshal or Rishab Pant if Rohit Sharma wants to go with six bowlers. Otherwise, we may see Bhuvi replacing Harshal and Deepak Chahar replacing Pant. Overall, we may see one or two changes and an extra bowler inclusion in the playing XI.
Even for Australia, bowling remains a concern. Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins are leaking too many runs. They will rely heavily on Adam Zampa. We may not see any changes in their playing XI. They may repeat the same team from the last game.
