‘Adipurush’, an adaptation of the Indian epic, ‘Ramayanam’, is being made on a budget of 500CR, starring ‘Rebel Star’ Prabhas as Lord Rama, Krithi Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. Directed by Om Raut of ‘Tanaji – An Unsung Warrior’, the film is said to be one of the costliest films to be made in India.
The film’s teaser was released yesterday morning followed by a promotional event in the evening. The team & the hype around the film has created so much buzz that almost everyone are looking up for it across the country. But then it turned out to be a major disappointment for everyone as it seems to a messy edit of poor animation & cheap filmmaking. Instead of receiving appreciation, the teaser received a huge amount of trolls, targeting the poor VFX work & get ups of lead characters. While someone questioned about the authenticity of the characters, most of them commented about the bad CG.
They went on to say that this is going to be the costliest children’s film and the satellite rights shall be bagged by Pogo or Khushi TV, children’s television channels. Looks like the team has to re-worj on their project for better result!
