The Munugode by-election heat is slowly picking up and ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi is taking it seriously to defeat BJP and halt their speed in state. The working president of TRS and IT Minister KTR, on Tuesday, made serious allegation that both BJP and Congress have partnered to fight TRS and went on to say that ‘Komatireddy brothers are coverts of 2 national parties. While one brother is contesting as BJP candidate in Munugode, Congress MP Venkat Reddy left to Australia tour.’
Speaking to media, KTR referred this by-poll as an ego-fight of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy to win a 18,000 Cr contract from union govt. He fired at BJP and alleged that the National party is planning to splash thousands of crores to win the election by not keen to spend on Munugode.
“It is TRS party and KCR who religiously fought for complete eradication of fluorosis in Nalgonda and he even wrote several songs highlighting the issue during the Telangana movement,” said KTR who demanded an enquiry into contracts of Rajagopal Reddy by a sitting judge. He also iterated that TRS party will withdraw and stop fighting this election if BJP government in the Centre is ready to grant 18,000 Cr for the development of Munugode constituency.
