In the latest declaration, the authorities of TTD stated that the temple shall remain closed on 25th October, as Solar Eclipse is predicted to take place on that date and also on 8th November, as Lunar eclipse is predicted to happen.
It has been mentioned that the temple shall remain closed for 12 hours on the day of eclipses, scheduled as 8:11 AM to 7:30 PM on Solar eclipse and 8:40AM to 7:20 PM on lunar eclipse. They also mentioned that only ‘Sarva Darsanam’ to be allowed on those days, rest all services shall be revoked, including ‘Anna Prasadha’.
Needless to say, the concept of eclipse is considered very affective & advised to be very cautious during the happening, in the traditional & devotional scriptures of Hindu religion.
