The ‘Visakha Gharjana’ rally that is being held by YSR Congress Party is creating huge ripples in the Andhra Pradesh political circles. Now, it led to the arrest of multiple Jana Sena leaders. Last evening, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan arrived in Vizag. The JSP leaders, who were at the airport, have already attacked YCP leaders Roja, YV Subba Reddy and Jogi Ramesh’s vehicles by pelting stones.
It was reported that Roja’s car driver and a few others suffered injuries in this attack. Citing this reason, the police have arrested various Jana Sena leaders. They have also tried to restrict Pawan Kalyan’s rally at night. However, there was a huge crowd gathered at the rally and the cops couldn’t stop it.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that apart from Pawan Kalyan, Naga Babu and Nadendla Manohar, the rest of the other prominent Jana Sena leaders from the city have been arrested.
Condemning the arrest of his party leaders, Pawan tweeted, “It’s very unfortunate to witness such high-handed police behaviour In Visakhapatnam.JSP has always held the AP Police force in high esteem. Arresting our leaders is unwarranted. I request @dgpapofficial to intervene and release our leaders immediately. I shall be forced to express my solidarity at the Police Station.”
