To save the democracy in Andhra Pradesh, all parties in the state should come under single platform and fight against the criminalisation of YSRCP activities – said TDP Chief and former CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu after meeting Jana Sena President at Novotel hotel in Vijayawada. On his way from Hyderabad to Mangalagiri, Naidu paid a visit to JSP chief to offer his solidarity and support for way he was handled by AP Police officials in Vishakapatnam recently.
“In this modern world, it looks very sad to see how Police officials have dealt with Pawan while he was doing rally in Vizag. From last three and half years, this government is attacking both our party leaders and harrassing them with illegal cases. Not being able to bear the harrassment, several people have committed suicide and I’ve not seen something like this in 40 years of my political life,” said Chandrababu Naidu who has attended the press meet along with Pawan Kalyan, Nadendla Manohar, Naga Babu and others.
Reacting to a question from a media journalist whether they will form an alliance, both leaders have rubbished such news. Chandrababu said ‘I am here to save our democracy and requested Pawan Kalyan to join in the fight against YSRCP and criminalization of politics’.
Pawan Kalyan said that leaders from both the Telugu states and different political parties have spoke to me and conveyed their solidarity for Vizag issue. ‘We are here to safeguard our basic rights and fight against this criminal YSRCP. This requires legal and political battle and finally people will decide.’
