To fight against price rise, unemployment, political centralization, and especially against the politics of “fear, bigotry, and hate”, Rahul Gandhi began his padyatra ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to unite our nation against hatred and division.
As a part of this Yatra, Rahul Gandhi reached Telangana today. It started at 6 AM from the BHEL site office in Yermarus, Raichur and took a halt at Ground Tai Road, Gudebellur, Mahbubnagar, Telangana. It is reported that Rahul Gandhi shall stay at Gudebellur for the rest of the day and shall meet the public of the Mahbubnagar constituency. His arrival in Telangana shall be crucial as the Munugode byelections are around the corner. Needless to say, this Yatra has sparked quite controversies along with fake news.
Unlike before, the team of Gandhi & Congress have countered them openly on social media, which has created a hugely positive response on social media. The march has as of October 2022 covered more than 1,000 kilometres. It has also generated an international response. Hollywood actor John Cusack extended his support to Bharat Jodo Yatra and said he stands in solidarity with “anti-fascists everywhere”.
