West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin in Chennai. The meeting of the two chief ministers has created a discussion in the political circles. Many claimed that the duo have discussed the political developments in the country. But, Mamata denied the same. Mamata Benarjee has called it a courtesy call.
During their interaction, Mamata Benarjee invited him to visit her State. Mr. Stalin said he had accepted her invitation.
Taking to Twitter, Tamilnadu chief minister MK Stalin shared pictures of his meeting with Mamata Benarjee. He wrote, “Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal @MamataOfficial paid a courtesy call at my residence today. It was a pleasure, as always, to have a chat with such a dynamic personality. She invited me to visit Kolkata sometime in the future and I gladly accepted her kind invitation.”
To attend a family function of Manipur Governor L Ganesan, Mamata came to Chennai. “How can I leave Chennai without meeting Mr. Stalin? He is like my brother” Mamata said.
At the same time, Mamata refused to comment on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.
