Recently, government officials demolished the houses of various TDP and Jana Sena supporters and leaders in the Ippatam village of Mangalagiri constituency. The villagers alleged that the government did this because they have donated land to Jana Sena for its Avirbhava Sabha. Until now, around 53 houses in the village are demolished.

This morning, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan visited the Ippattam village and spoke with the victims. Ahead of Pawan’s visit, the police surrounded the village and also tried to stop Pawan’s vehicle from entering it. Then, Pawan got down from his car and walked into the village.

Meanwhile, Jana Sena leaders and villagers condemned the act of the police against Pawan Kalyan. After entering the village, Pawan visited the demolished house sites and spoke with the victims. He questioned what is the need of laying a 100-feet road in a small village. “Ippattam is a small village. Do you think it is Kakinada or Rajamahendravaram to widen the roads? Who are you to stop me when I came here to talk to the victims?” Pawan questioned the ruling YCP party.

Pawan said that his party will not tolerate any more atrocities that are made against the Ippattam villagers. He said that the government and the local MLA are responsible for all the disturbances that are taking place in the village.
