The political fight between TRS and BJP is going at full pace in Telangana. After losing Munugode polls, BJP is going all out to launch a scathing attack on TRS leaders. Recently, CM KCR revealed that BJP leaders approached his daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha to join their party and it is causing further tremors now. At a party meeting recently, Nizamabad MP and BJP leader Dharmapuri Aravind said MLC Kavitha has approached Congress party newly elected President Mallikarjun Kharge and looking to join in INC. He further added it was passed on to him by a Congress leader only.
With these comments, Aravind invited criticism from many TRS leaders and Telangana Jagruthi members. Angered with the statements made by BJP MP, hundreds of Telangana Jagruthi supporters attacked his residence in Hyderabad and caused damage to the furniture and chairs. Police officials who noticed the incident took the attackers into custody.
MLC K Kavitha also responded and hit back at Aravind for making baseless allegations on her. ‘In my two decades of political career, I have never made personal attacks on opponents. If you continue to make such faux pas comments, I will make you stand at Nizamabad junction and it you with chappal.’ She also questioned the role of Aravind in Telangana agitation and accused him of having close connections with Congress party.
