Indonesia Earthquake: More than 50 people died and hundreds injured

In a shocking news, we have learned that a severe earthquake hit Cianjur, West Java province in Indonesia. There is no official news on the human loss. But, we have come to know that more than 50 people were succumbed to death.

As per the initial reports, the damage caused by earthquake is severe and there has been no update on the extent of the loss.

“There have been dozens of people killed. Hundreds, even maybe thousands of houses are damaged. So far, 44 people have died,” Adam, spokesman for the local administration in Cianjur town in West Java has revealed to the media.

If the reports are believed to be true, a shallow 5.6-magnitude earthquake killed many and injured hundreds when it damaged buildings and triggered landslides on Indonesia’s main island of Java. All of a sudden, the tragedy has created enough damage to everyone.

The health workers are currently working round the clock to carry out the relief activities in the country. The local administration has been alerted for the same and everyone is concerned about the relief activities.

In the past, a 6.2-magnitude quake that shook Sulawesi island in January 2021.
