SS Rajamouli’s RRR has created many wonders ever since its release and it is winning several accolades all over the world. The film is now in Oscars race as well. Though it was rejected as an official entry from India, the movie unit launched a campaign to file nomination in 14 categories as part of “For your consideration (FYC)” campaign.
It is not an easy thing to be in Oscars race and it requires a promising promotional plan and a huge spending. But, RRR team isn’t going back and director Rajamouli planned to spend around 50 Cr to promote the movie for Oscars. Both the lead actors, Ram Charan and NTR, are also nominated for the prestigious awards besides best song (Naatu Naatu), Visual Effects, Best Director et al.
If RRR manages to win an Oscar award even in one single category, it would change the range of Indian cinema. Not just that, the craze of SS Rajamouli will grow by leaps and bounds. He is now seen as the biggest filmmaker in India and he will be considered as most sought-after filmmaker across the globe and his future films will carry huge attention.
