Samantha’s spokesperson denies her hospitalization rumours

A few weeks ago, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu stated that she is suffering from an autoimmune condition called Myositis. She said she is undergoing treatment and added that it may take some time to fully recover from the disease. Due to her health issues, Samantha couldn’t promote her recent release Yashoda.

Meanwhile, reports started flowing in the media yesterday saying that Samantha has been hospitalized due to her health condition. Within no time, the news spread like wildfire on social media and fans started worrying about Sam’s health. Finally, Samantha’s official spokesperson spoke to the media and denied all rumours.

Speaking to India Today, Samantha’s spokesperson said that the actress has not been hospitalized and is resting at her home. The confirmation came in as a sigh of relief for Samantha’s fans.

Meanwhile, Samantha scored a hit with Yashoda. Even though she didn’t promote the film, fans came in huge numbers to watch it in theatres and made it a successful venture. She will be next seen in the movie Shaakuntalam, which is being directed by Gunasekhar. This mythological drama features Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan and Allu Arha in the other important roles. It will have a pan-India release in 2023.
