Narendra Modi to do a long roadshow in Gujarat today ahead of the second phase of polling

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to intensify his campaign in Gujarat Elections. He will be holding a three-hour-long mega roadshow today across 16 assembly constituencies in the state. According to the Bharatiya Janata Party, this roadshow will cover more than 50 km. It starts at Naroda Gam and ends at Gandhinagar South constituency.

As per the reports, Modi’s roadshow will begin at 03:30 PM today. It is expected to continue till 06:30 PM. Apparently, there will be 35 stops in this roadshow. Modi will halt at the memorials of popular personalities like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay.

The constituencies Modi will cover today include Thakkarbapanagar, Bapunagar, Nikol, Amraiwadi, Maninagar, Danilimbda, Jamalpur Khadia, Elisbridge, Vejalpur, Ghatlodia, Naranpur, Sabarmati. Among these, Ghatlodia is the region where the Chief Minister candidate Bhupendra Patel is contesting from. BJP is aiming to win these elections as well and continue its long reign in Gujarat. It is to be noted that Modi has been the longest-serving Chief Minister in Gujarat’s history (2001-2014).

Meanwhile, the first phase of elections has begun today. The second phase of polling will be held on December 5. The results will be out on December 8.
