Vande Bharat Express – The train comprising a chair car with a better version of high-end technology, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has generated a good buzz post its usage. At present, Vande Bharat Express trains connect New Delhi with Varanasi and Vaishno Devi in northern Jammu, and Mysuru and Chennai via Bengaluru.

Reports came in stating that the Vande Bharat Express shall be stationed in Telugu states too, from Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad most probably next year, in the month of February. The route shall include via Vijayawada, and shall run along the lines of the Janma Bhoomi Express. Passengers can reach their destination in eight hours, saving up almost four to five hours of travel. Currently, it takes twelve to fourteen hours for the same.

According to our sources, the initial run shall be conducted between Vizag – Vijayawada and then they shall be connecting it to Secunderabad. The AC train with 16 coaches will have a seating capacity of 1,128 seats. It can touch the speed of 100 km/h within 52 seconds and reach up to 160 km/h on our existing tracks.
