Udayanidhi Stalin, Youth wing secretary and a much popular member of the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, is all set to become a Minister. Udayanidhi was elected for the first time in the 2021 Assembly elections from the Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni Assembly Constituency. He is also an actor and a filmmaker known for his hit films like “Ok Ok” and “Psycho”.

He has a bachelor’s degree in science. Known for his swift leadership skills, Udhayanidhi has taken DMK’s youth wing to greater heights. His work at the party is much appreciated and was always going to be rewarded with a Minister post. But due to covid-19 in 2021, this event was postponed. Finally, the time for this event has come. He will be sworn in as Minister on December 14 in the Cabinet headed by his father, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and party president, M K Stalin.

“Udhayanidhi is likely to get portfolios including Youth Welfare and Special Programme Implementation that will take him to the next level, both in the party and the government within the next 3 years, in time for the next Assembly election,” claimed Political Commentator M Bharat Kumar. the mission to inculcate Dravidian ideology and ‘Dravidian model’ workshops are among some of the party initiatives under Udayanidhi’s leadership.
