Telangana Cabinet Minister and BRS Working President KT Rama Rao lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to the combined Nalgonda district. He stated that the Telangana government implemented various development and welfare activities with the loan it took and questioned what is PM Modi doing with the crores of loan taken by his government.

KTR visited Huzurnagar and Chandoor areas the other day to inaugurate a few development initiatives. During his visit, he participated in a public meeting at Huzurnagar. Speaking at the event, KTR criticized Union Minister Kishan Reddy’s allegations of the Telangana government misusing the loans taken from the central government.

KTR stated that the Telangana government gave around Rs. 3.68 lakh crores to the centre in the last eight and a half years in the form of direct or indirect tax forms and got only Rs. 1.68 lakh crores in return in the form of funds.

He challenged Kishan Reddy to resign from his post if these statistics were proven right. KTR alleged that the BJP government is using Telangana’s amount for BJP-led states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He said that as promised in the previous elections, the Telangana government started development activities of around Rs. 3000 crores in the Huzurnagar region. Along with KTR, various BRS MLAs participated in this meeting.
