One of the visionary and significant leaders of Telangana is KT Rama Rao. Though he entered politics as the son of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, he took no time to carve a niche for himself in the political arena. He played a pivotal role in the Telangana agitation and is playing a key role in the development of the state after its formation. He celebrates his 46th birthday.
KTR was born in the Karimnagar district. He studied in Hyderabad until his graduation and moved to the USA for his post-graduation. He stayed in the US for more than a decade. He entered into politics in 2009 by contesting for the MLA seat from the Siricilla constituency. Since then, he has been winning in the region on a trot in every election.
KTR became more popular after the formation of Telangana through his visionary planning and ideas. He is the key architect in bringing various multi-national companies to Hyderabad and making the city an international hub for the IT sector. The world’s largest start-up incubator, T-Hub is his brainchild.
Many international companies showed interest in investing in Hyderabad only because of the friendly policies of the state’s government, which were introduced by KTR. On the whole, he is one of the key architects in making the new-global city Hyderabad. We wish him a very happy birthday.
