Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao will be holding a cabinet meeting at 3 PM on August 11 (Thursday). The cabinet will be discussing some key issues in this meeting. Reportedly, the major point of discussion will be the cutting down of funds by the central government to the state.
The central government has been imposing severe cuts to the funds that are being released to Telangana since the last fiscal. The cabinet will take stock of the financial situation of the government amidst this situation.
Meanwhile, the other issues that will be discussed in the meeting are lowering the Aasara pensions age cap to 57 years against the existing 65 years, sanctioning of new ration cards and the implementation of Dalita Bandhu. The cabinet is also expected to discuss the upcoming Munugode by-elections which are most likely to be held in November this year. The TRS party will be taking these polls prestigiously and aim to win them with a high margin.
