The way Brahmastra team is promoting their film is outstanding and creating high chances to make it earn big in the opening weekend. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who were recently in Hyderabad, are travelling to several parts of the nation as part of promotions and it seems to be working for the movie at box-office.
The fantasy adventure movie has registered a record on its name in terms of advance booking in Hindi Release. Till 11.30pm on 6th September, 1,31,000 tickets of Brahmastra were sold in national chains that include PVR, Cineplex, INOX. With that, the film has surpassed RRR (1,09,000) Bhool Bhulaiya 2 (1,12,000) in terms of advance tickets booking for day-1 post pandemic. However, the No.1 record is still being held by Yash starrer KGF-2 with 5,05,000 tickets booking in advance.
It remains to be seen if Brahmastra will go on to emerge as one of the biggest blockbusters and turn the tide in favour of Bollywood which is reeling under series of disasters. Directed by Ayan Mukherji, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and several other actors.
