Kantara starring and directed by Rishab Shetty is taking the entire Indian box office by storm. The film created a sensation in Kannada and was released in all the languages last week. Continuing the glory, even Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of films released are bagging extraordinary collections. Due to positive word of mouth, the film is likely to have a dream run at the box office.
Now as the latest reports, the Hindi version of Kantara earned twice the amount on Sunday, when compared to the numbers on its Saturday. The film inclusive of all languages recently crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide and is still going strong at the box office.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh shared the day one collection of Kantara Hindi on his Twitter and wrote, “#Kantara #Hindi version* opens better than recent dubbed films… Picked up pace towards the evening… #Maharashtra leads, North circuits low… Dependent on Day 2 and 3 for a respectable weekend total… Fri ₹ 1.27 cr. #India biz. Nett BOC.”
Going by the trade reports, the Kantara Hindi version’s Day 3 collections are also higher than that of the previous two days. The film is estimated to have collected Rs 4.28 crore, thereby taking the opening day collection to Rs 8.30 crore nett.
This folklore-oriented movie has received enormous praise from celebrities as well across the Indian film industry, including Prabhas, Kiccha Sudeep, Raj & DK, Dhanush, Rana Daggubati, and others.
