The newly elected President of Indian National Congress Party, Mallikarjun Kharge launched a serious attack on Narendra Modi-led union govt for failing to fill in vacant jobs in various central departments. Referring to the growing rate of unemployment in the country, Kharge said that centre is not bothered to fill the vacant 30 lakh jobs and PM has only distributed 75 thousand appointments so far.
‘This Prime Minister had promised 2 Cr jobs every year and they should have offered 16 Cr jobs in last 8 years. While 30 lakh jobs are left vacant in various departments, Prime Minister gave only 75,000 jobs so far,’ Kharge said by questioning ‘Why 1,600 posts are left vacant under Central Secretariat, directly under PMO?’
Earlier in June this year, PM Modi stated that this government is committed to offer 10 lakh jobs and in last month, Modi launched a “Rozgar Mela” and highlighted his government’s efforts to create jobs in the last eight years.
