This year ‘Powerstar’ Pawan Kalyan has come up with ‘Bheemla Nayak’ after a long hiatus because of his political commitments. Although the film received mixed reviews, it managed to break many box-office records and stood as a commercially successful film.
‘Bheemla Nayak’ is an official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. Along with this came the news of another remake ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’, which was said to be directed by the actor Samuthrakani. It was also known that Pawan Kalyan has another remake commitment on his list for a long time. With so many remakes, his fans along with the audience got very much frustrated but remained silent as ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’ got scrapped. But his collaboration with Harish Shankar, which was announced as ‘Bhavadeyudu Bhagat Singh’ was delayed for a very long time and the makers announced that there’s gonna be a surprise in the evening. Somehow the news got online that it is about the official remake of ‘Theri’ and fans lost it.
‘Theri’ was dubbed & released as ‘Policodu’ and still, the makers have decided to go ahead with it. This irked the fans and went onto trend ”#WeDontWantTheriRemake’ national wide, which put the makers to hold the announcement.
