Power star Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati came forward to remake the super successful Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum in Telugu as Bheemla Nayak. Trivikram Srinivas is the writer while Saagar K Chandra directed it. The film was released on 25th February. Check out the film’s review here.

Plot:

A battle of ego begins between SI Bheemla Nayak (Pawan Kalyan), a righteous policeman, and Daniel Shekhar (Rana Daggubati), an-ex havildar when Daniel tricks Bheemla into surrendering to corruption. However, there is a past to Bheemla Nayak that is connected to Shekhar in the most unexpected manner. The film is all about who wins the ego battle.

What’s Entertaining & What’s Boring:

Bheemla Nayak has multiple entertaining elements which will impress the audience. First of all, the towering presence of both the lead actors is a huge entertaining factor. The dialogues are enjoyable and so are the action sequences. The performances are good. Thaman’s music is thoroughly entertaining. What’s boring is the newly added tracks which could have been toned down. The track involving Nithya Menen and Pawan Kalyan is also not so entertaining.

Performance of Cast & Crew:

Performances-wise, the cast has done a great job. Pawan Kalyan looks extremely good and massy in the film. Compared to his recent films, he is at his best in this movie. Rana Daggubati is also entertaining big time. He has delivered a very good performance that he almost dominated Pawan Kalyan.

Nithya Menen is loud and she looks good on the screen. Samyuktha Menon is a surprise package of the film and her performance deserves a special mention. Raghu Babu, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, and others are good and made their presence felt.

On the other hand, the technical team gave their best for the film. Technically, the film is well-made. It has got everything in the right place. The cinematographer visualized the important scenes very well. The editing is good. The newly added changes impress to some extent and the writing is nice. The production values are grand. Thaman’s score is the major highlight.

First Half & Second Half:

The first half of the film sets the mood and tone of the film properly that the audience is completely involved in an extremely engaging emotional action ride. The conflicts established in the first half are also good.

The second half, however, gets slowed down. The second half is poorly executed. However, the action sequences pay off well. Comparatively, the first half of the film is extremely good.

Impressive:

Unimpressive:
