Since a few days, more than Covid cases, the nation is more worried about Monkeypox. Raising this tension, today India has registered one more Monkeypox case.

Going into the news, Health Minister Veena George announced today that Kerala has registered India’s second case of monkeypox.

She added that, “A 31-year old man, who had arrived from Dubai was under treatment at the Pariyaram Medical College hospital at Kannur, has turned positive for the disease”. However, sharing about his health condition, Geroge said that the patient’s condition is fine now and all those who came in close contact with him have been isolated.

For the unversed, the 1st case of monkeypox in India was registered on July 14th in the Kollam state, when the man who arrived from the UAE tested positive.

With the rise in cases, now the big question is whether Monkeypox will create another medical emergency like Covid in India.
