Kollywood ace director Mani Ratnam, who is busy with post production works of his dream project Ponniyin Selvan, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Maniratnam has recently participated in the teaser release of his film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which is slated to release on September 30th.
As per the sources, this iconic director doubted COVID test after falling sick. Later he took a test and it has been confirmed as positive. Responding to this, immediately ManiRatnam was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai.
As per the reports of the hospital, the director is stable now and has no other symptoms.
Meanwhile, Kollywood celebrities as well as Maniratnam fans are wishing him a speedy recovery through their social media accounts.
His upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is based on the novel of the same title, and is going to be released in five languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
