The Government of India gives financial aid to the farmers under the scheme PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The eligible farmers get Rs.6000 each annually under this scheme. A total of Rs.2000 will be deposited into farmers’ accounts in three installments yearly.
The amount has been credited to farmers’ accounts in 11 installments. Around 10 lakh farmers benefit from this scheme. Currently, they are waiting for the 12th installment. According to the reports, the 12th installment will be done in August last week of September first week.
Meanwhile, the farmers have to finish the e-KYC process to become eligible for the 12th installment of the payment. July 31st is the deadline to finish the e-KYC process.
To do e-KYC, farmers must log in to Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’s official website. Then, click on the e-KYC tab. You should enter your Aadhar number on the newly opened page. You will then get an OTP to your registered mobile number. Enter that OTP, and the e-KYC process will be finished. The Government of India made e-KYC mandatory to avoid transferring money to ineligible accounts.
