The latest reports from Uttar Pradesh reveal to us that the Yogi Adityanath government has fallen into big trouble. UP Minister Dinesh Khatik has resigned from the cabinet, complaining that he was “sidelined because he is a Dalit.” This is a huge setback to the mass leader.

Dinesh Khatik has sent his resignation letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In his resignation letter, Khatik claimed that it’s been 100 days, but he was not assigned any work, and he was hurt by the same.

“I was not given any importance because I am a Dalit. I have no authority as a minister. I am not called for any meeting and not told anything about my ministry. This is an insult of the Dalit community,” Mr Khatik mentioned in his letter.

However, we hear that some of the senior leaders in the party are trying to talk to him about taking back the resignation.

For the record, Dinesh Khatik is an Indian politician and a member of the 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh representing the Hastinapur constituency. He is an active member of the Bhartiya Janata Party.
