Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Today afternoon inaugurated the state police’s new integrated command and control centre on Road Number 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Started in the year 2016, the construction cost of this is expected as Rs 600 crore. This building also has a helipad on top, a date centre, a disaster and crisis management centre, and also a war room connected to numerous surveillance cameras that give live feed of the city.
While Twenty-storey Tower A has the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate and all its verticals, Tower B has technology fusion centres, Tower C has 480-seat auditorium, Tower D has a media and training center and then Tower E has control and data centre.
Taking cautions prior to inauguration ceremony, the Hyderabad traffic police have imposed a diversion of traffic between 11 am and 5 pm from the Banjara Hills road number 12 and directed everyone to take other routes.
