Arvind Kejriwal is known for good governance in the state of Delhi. With his Aam Aadmi Party tasting a victory in Punjab, they are now targeting Gujarat to dominate the existing BJP rule in the state. Arvind Kejriwal is currently touring the state and has been announcing a lot of welfare schemes for the people of Punjab.
Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced free and quality education for all students in government schools in Gujarat, ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. He also showered more promises to the people if voted to power.
“All those born in Gujarat will get free and quality education if we are voted to power. We will provide the best education for free to everyone,” said the AAP convener, addressing a town hall at Bhuj in Kutch district.
At the same time, Arvind Kejriwal also promised to improve the infrastructure of existing government schools and also set up new ones in the state.
Like in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal wants to return the extra money charged by schools to the parents.
