Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao once again showed his disinterest for the governor by not attending the ceremonial party. For the unversed, a ceremonial party has been organized by governor TamilIsai Soundararajan at the Raj Bhavan on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day. Though it has been two days already, the opposition, especially the BJP leaders, are still cornering the Telangana CM.
Usually, for this occasion, the Chief Minister KCR, along with his family, and his cabinet colleagues, were invited to the Governor’s Raj Bhavan.
Confirming the same, KCR also said he would visit the program. But surprisingly, CM skipped this event hosted by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at the last minute.
Also, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi’s MPs, MLAs, and other leaders stayed away from the dinner. With this contempt action, many are questioning whether this type of behavior from KCR is an insult against the Governor or Raj Bhavan.
Because it is a known fact that differences emerged between KCR and the Governor during the recent Godavari floods, everyone thinks that KCR has done this intentionally to show his disinterest.
However, the political circles view this as KCR’s contempt to the position of Governor but not the person holding the power.
Whatever it may be, if these differences continue, it will be a big trouble for the state ahead of the general elections.
