Munugode bypoll in Telangana is the discussion point in the political circles across the Telugu states. The ruling party TRS, the opposition parties Congress and BJP are mulling out plans to show their domination and win the by-election. After KCR addressed a public gathering at Munugode the other day, now, Congress party is coming up with an interesting programme to attract the voters of Munugode.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and Congress MP A Revanth Reddy said that Congress party representatives are going to touch one lakh people’s feet in Munugode Constituency. The party has taken up the initiative seriously and wants to make it a big success.

The programme will take place on the 17th of September. The Congress party has chosen this date as Telangana gained independence on the same day. The party named this programme as ‘Prajaswamyam ki Padabi Vandanam.’

“Our 1,000 Congress workers will touch 100 people’s feet apiece, making a total of one lakh when multiplied by 1,000. I am also going to take part in this programme,” said Revanth Reddy.

Sitting Congress MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy resigned from his post in the party and he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. So, the by-election is announced.
