Former US president Donald Trump has made some interesting comments about India, Prime Minister Modi, and his relationship with him and the nations during an exclusive interview given to an Indian media group recently. He also spoke about his thoughts on running for office in 2024.
During the interview, when asked about India – US relationships & his view on the current politics of India, he said PM Modi is “doing a terrific job” and that India “has never had a better friend than me”.
He also shared an opinion that India never had better relations with any President of the US other than him and both countries shared a swift harmony.
“I’ve had a great relationship to India and to Prime Minister Modi. We were we’ve been friends. And I think he’s a great guy and doing a terrific job. It’s not an easy job he’s got. So but we’ve known each other a long time. Good man,” he said.
