After Former Election strategist Prashant Kishor has often spoken about various way to fight the Bharatiya Janata Party in the centre. He has managed to fight off a stiff challenge in West Bengal by defeating BJP and since then, PK is going all out to unite leaders of opposition. While PK is actively working with KCR-led TRS party in Telangana, he recently met his former boss Nithish Kumar to speak about upcoming political moves in country.
On Tuesday, Prashant Kishor interacted with pro-Vidharba supporters and activists who are demanding a seperate state. It looks like PK is going to pump in some new lease of life to this movement that was inactive since 2014. During his interaction, PK also commented on Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. “Rahul should’ve started this Yatra from Gujarat where elections are likely to happen shortly, or Uttar Pradesh or Madhya Pradesh where BJP is in rule.” On other hand, Rahul Gandhi is into 13th day of his Yatra and finished 225 Kms in Kerala. The mega Bharat Jodo Yatra is designed in 12 States to revive Congress party image and Rahul is expected to cover up to 3570 Kms.
Quashing the rumours that he was invited to join Congress, PK said he had to reject the offer to work as poll strategist for Congress in the upcoming polls.
