Hyderabad is going to host the third T20I match of the ongoing bilateral series between India and Australia that will be held on September 25 (Sunday). The first slot of the online bookings was opened on September 15 and got sold out within minutes.
Many people alleged that the Paytm Insider (official ticketing partner) website crashed when they tried to book tickets. Many people couldn’t get a chance to get the tickets but officials stated that around 30,000 tickets were sold in that first slot of online booking.
It was informed that the offline booking will begin today at Secunderabad’s Gymkhana Ground. In order to take tickets at the counter, people started waiting at Gymkhana gate right from 5 AM. More than 1000 fans are waiting for the last few hours to get tickets.
They alleged that until now, there is no official word from Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) regarding offline ticket sales. They also alleged that the HCA officials are selling tickets in black and not keeping them available for online or offline sales. They lashed out at officials and started protesting in front of the HCA office. Yesterday, a case was also filed at Human Rights Commission alleging that HCA is selling tickets illegally in the black market. Until now, HCA officials haven’t responded to these allegations.
