Tension prevailed at Secunderabad Gymkhana Ground as Police have done lathi-charge against thousands of fans who have gathered at the location to buy tickets for the 3rd T20I between India and Australia, which will be held on Sunday (September 25).

Initially, Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) announced that the tickets will be put for online sale on September 15. Only limited tickets were sold in this quota. People alleged that the HCA organizers are selling most of the tickets in the black market.

Later, it was reported that offline sales will begin on September 21. Thousands of fans waited in long queues the other day at Gymkhana ground. But the tickets were not sold. Last night, HCA has officially announced that the tickets will be available for sale from 10 AM today.

Hearing this, fans have formed queues right from 5 AM in the morning. A long queue of nearly 4 km has been formed. Once the gates are opened, the queues broke and there was chaos all around. Thus, the police had to do the lathi charge. The situation is still out of control, say the reports. Meanwhile, HCA didn’t respond to any of these protests that were happening all these days.
