Maharashtra: Shiv Sena rally issue reaches Mumbai High Court

Shiv sena rally shivaji park

Shiv Sena is one of the biggest regional political parties in the country right now. The party is split into two groups now. With Uddhav Thackeray leading one group, the chief minister Eknath Shinde is leading the other group. It is a ritual for the party to hold a rally on the occasion of the party’s anniversary every year, on the occasion of Dusshera. But, the municipal corporation has denied the permission for the same.

Apparently, the two groups want to hold the rally at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park. However, the Munisipal Corporation of Brihanmumbai denied the permission saying that it could cause a law and order situation in the city. The corporation does not want to give permission to either of the gangs.

However, Uddhav Thackeray, who technically remains Shiv Sena chief approached the High Court, seeking permission to hold the rally on the 5th of October.

The hearing is set for tomorrow in the Mumbai high court. On the other hand, Eknath Shindey is also planning for a back up where he want to show his strength by exhibiting the domination over the other camp.

Whatever it maybe, the decision is still pending.
