Rahul Gandhi’s Mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi is said to participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra on October 6 in Karnataka.
As per the reports, Sonia Gandhi will walk with the participants on October 6 during the Karnataka leg of the Yatra. This Yatra will be through Karnataka for almost 21 days, covering a distance of 511 km in the state.
This yatra began on September 7 by Rahul Gandhi from Kanyakumari and entered Karnataka on Friday, that is on September 30, after passing through Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Rahul Gandhi has been walking continuously in the Yatra and reached Gundlupet in Karnataka from Gudalur in neighboring Tamil Nadu.
The interesting thing is that it would be the first time that congress leader Sonia Gandhi would participate in the Yatra, which began when she was abroad for a medical check-up.
The Yatra has now entered a crucial phase as it is the first time the Yatra is passing through a BJP-ruled state.
It is said that the Congress president’s move will give a great boost to the ongoing march to bring peace to the country. Several Congress leaders and workers welcomed her move after hearing the news.
