Rishi Sunak has taken charge as the Prime Minister of England and all of us are aware of the news. With Rishi taking the charge, there are a lot of interesting aspects and developments that are being awaited by the entire world. Especially, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is looking forward to a great relationship with Britain PM Rishi Sunak.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rishi Sunak discussed the need to close a balanced free-trade deal between India and the UK soon. This is being discussed for a long time now. The same has come in the discussion when the duo had a conversation via phone.

“Glad to speak to @RishiSunak today. Congratulated him on assuming charge as UK PM. We will work together to further strengthen our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. We also agreed on the importance of early conclusion of a comprehensive and balanced FTA,” tweeted Narendra Modi.

Rishi Sunak acknowledged the same and replied saying, “Thank you Prime Minister Narendra Modi for your kind words as I get started in my new role. The UK and India share so much. I’m excited about what our two great democracies can achieve as we deepen our security, defence and economic partnership in the months and years ahead.”
