Cricketers dating Bollywood actresses is not a new thing in India. We are seeing this trend since the 1980s. Some of them get married while some others just date. The latest entrant to this list is Shubman Gill. In the past, it was rumoured that this young cricketer is dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar. But neither of them ever responded to these rumours.
For the last few months, it is being rumoured that Gill is dating actress Sara Ali Khan. These rumours started when both of them were spotted together having dinner in Mumbai in August this year. Later, they were also clicked together while boarding a flight.
Finally, Gill opened up about these speculations. Recently, he participated in a Punjabi talk show. The promo of the show is out now. In the clip, the host asks Gill about whom he think is the fittest actress in Bollywood. Gill immediately replies, “Sara.” Then the host asks him, “Are you dating Sara Ali Khan?” He says, “Maybe.”
With this answer, Gill hinted that he is indeed dating Sara Ali Khan. In the clip, we can also see him saying, “sara da sara sach bol diya. Maybe, maybe not.” We have to see if Sara opens up on these rumours anytime soon.
